Born in the beautiful Lanyang Plain of Yilan, Taiwan, Ruhn Chan has always believed that nature is the purest source of nourishment.

Our journey began with Yi Kang Mineral Water, a brand once known for bringing pure drinking water to families across Taiwan. Over the years, we have transformed from a mineral water manufacturer into a professional food and beverage company dedicated to natural, additive-free products.

At a time when artificial flavors and additives became common in the food industry, we chose a different path. We committed ourselves to developing foods and beverages made with real ingredients, natural flavors, and no unnecessary artificial additives.

This journey was not always easy. Natural taste can be subtle, and it takes time for people to rediscover the authentic flavors of real ingredients. Yet we continued to move forward, guided by our responsibility to consumers, society, and the environment.

With the spirit of "natural ingredients, complete nutrition, and whole foods,", we carefully develop every product with the hope that consumers can enjoy the genuine taste of nature in their everyday lives.

Every word of encouragement from our customers has reminded us why we began this journey. Their support has become the strength that keeps us going and has affirmed our belief that choosing a natural, clean-label path was the right decision.

Looking ahead, Ruhn Chan will continue to give back to society with gratitude for nature. We remain committed to creating wholesome foods and beverages that support a lighter, healthier lifestyle, and we invite everyone who believes in natural living to continue walking this path with us.

 

Our Journey 

1999

Focused on developing natural, health-oriented wellness beverages.

2001

Obtained ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification.

2004

Became a supplier to Leezen, one of Taiwan’s leading organic retail chains. Under the Ruhn Chan brand, we launched natural, additive-free beverages such as plum juice and chrysanthemum tea, which remain popular among consumers who appreciate authentic natural flavors.

2006

Completed U.S. FDA food facility registration and exported products to the United States for the first time.

2008

  • Participated in organic and LOHAS food exhibitions in Hong Kong and Asia, receiving positive feedback from international customers and expanding overseas market opportunities.
  • Obtained HALAL Certification from Taipei Grand Mosque.

2009

  • Obtained HACCP and ISO 22000 food safety certifications.
  • Obtained Organic Processing Certification from the Tse-Xin Organic Agriculture Foundation.
  • Launched a series of certified organic Ruhn Chan beverages, including Organic Golden Oat Nut Drink and Organic Golden Oat & Red Job’s Tears Drink.

2010

Ruhn Chan’s Organic Black Fungus Essence Drink received Tse-Xin Organic Certification and was launched in major organic retail chains across Taiwan.

2011

Launched the Ruhn Chan 330ml beverage series and Bitter Melon Tea Bags, both of which received strong market response.

2012

  • Successfully completed the first on-site inspection by the U.S. FDA.
  • Continuing our commitment to caring for the land, we launched six certified organic tea and beverage products.

2013

Developed a series of natural wellness fruit beverages made with fresh Taiwanese fruits.

2014

Participated in Gulfood Dubai in February and FOODEX JAPAN in March.

2016

Launched wellness beverages including Red Date Tea and Ginseng Tea, as well as Kumquat Aloe Drink.

2017

Launched Goji Chrysanthemum Tea.

2018

Participated in major food exhibitions including the China Food & Drinks Fair, SIAL China, Taipei International Food Show, and China International Import Expo.
